/ How it works
Seven steps, and you can check every one.
Nothing here happens behind a curtain. At every step there is a document, a photograph or a tracking number you can hold up and verify — and payment only moves forward when you are satisfied that the step is done.
01
Free consultation
Tell us what you want to import, roughly how much, and when you need it. We tell you honestly whether it makes commercial sense, what it will cost, and how long it will take. If it is a bad idea we will say so.
You pay: nothing02
Sourcing & landed-cost quote
We find or verify the supplier and put one written quote in front of you: goods, freight, insurance, estimated duty, VAT and port charges, cleared at Modjo. One number, with the workings shown — and delivery to your address priced separately underneath it, so you can take it or arrange your own.
You pay: nothing03
Written agreement
If you are happy, we sign an agreement that names the goods, the specification, the price, the timeline and what happens if either side fails to deliver. Then the deposit — enough to place the order, not the whole amount.
You pay: deposit04
Production & inspection
We stay on the factory while your order is produced and send progress updates. When it is finished our team inspects it in person and sends you photos and video of your actual goods. You approve before anything moves.
You approve before loading05
Loading & departure
Booking confirmed, container sealed, bill of lading issued. You receive the shipping documents and a tracking reference you can follow yourself — you are not depending on us to tell you where your cargo is.
You pay: balance of freight06
Customs & clearance
Djibouti transit, declaration, duty and VAT, and clearance at Modjo or Kality dry port. We handle the paperwork and the queue. Because the HS codes were agreed at quotation stage there is no argument about classification — and if the assessed value moves, you hear it from us before you pay it.
You pay: duty at cost07
Delivery to your address
Delivered to Modjo or Kality, or to your address in Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Bahir Dar or anywhere else in Ethiopia — an add-on service, quoted separately so you can take it or arrange your own. You check the goods against the inspection report you already have, and the final payment is due when the cargo is in your hands, not before.
You pay: final balance on receipt
